Prayer at Cornerstone

At Cornerstone Community Church, our commitment to prayer is unwavering, reflecting the biblical truth that God's house is intended to be a house of prayer for all nations.   We understand that prayer is not just an activity; it is the very lifeline to our relationship with God.

Sunday services at Cornerstone Community Church are a blend of discipleship and evangelism, where we grow together in our faith through worship and the preaching of the Word.  However, the essence of our church's spiritual life is expressed in our Wednesday prayer meetings. These gatherings are not just a part of our routine; they are our corporate devotion,  where we catch the heartbeat of God and from which all our ministry flows.

Prayer meetings are vital to our spiritual health and growth. As Leonard Ravenhill  put it, "The church has many organizers, but few agonizers; many who pay, but few who pray; many wrestlers, but few wrestlers; many who are enterprising, but few who are interceding." This quote encapsulates the essence of our belief in the power of prayer meetings. They are the times when we truly engage with God, seeking His direction and pouring out our hearts in intercession.

At Cornerstone Community Church, prayer is more than a practice—it's a way of life. We are dedicated to fostering a spiritual environment where every individual can engage with God and experience the transformation that comes from being in His presence. We invite you to join us in this journey of faith, as we seek to fulfill our calling as a house of prayer.
